Information Text Regarding Security Cameras Located in the Service Area
This information text has been prepared by Özbilim Textile Machinery Ind. Trade Ltd. Co., acting as the data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Information Obligation, in order to inform you about the purposes of processing your personal data, legal reasons, collection method, to whom it can be transferred and your rights within the scope of KVKK.
A total of 65 security cameras are used on the exterior of our service area, in the corridors and offices of administrative buildings, in the cafeteria, in the warehouse, in the production area and in the R&D department, and to ensure the security of our service area, and the recording process is supervised by the management.
Your personal data in question is processed by automatic means based on the legal reason of “data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person” in Article 5 of the Law. In addition, your personal data may be transferred to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement officers upon request for the resolution of legal disputes or in accordance with the relevant legislation.
Article 20 of the Constitution stipulates that everyone has the right to be informed about personal data related to him/her. Article 11 of the KVKK lists the rights of personal data owners within the scope of the law.
